Why 256th day? The number 256 is the number of distinct values that can be represented with an eight-bit byte. In 2002, Russian programmers Valentin Balt and Michael Chervyakov of Parallel Technologies gathered signatures to declare the Day of the Programmer. In 2009, Programmer’s Day was officially recognized.
Kudos to those who make the IT world brighter, create technologies to improve and simplify daily-life routines and deliver the change by implementing the most significant ideas.
May all your programmer’s wishes come true! Stay creative and passionate. Wishing you a very Happy Programmer’s Day!
