Step-by-Step Guide to DocuSign and Salesforce Integration

In this guide, I’ll demonstrate how to install DocuSign eSignature. The process for installing CLM and Gen will be similar. 

Let’s get started! 

Before you begin, ensure you have the following: 

A Salesforce org.

“My Domain” enabled in your Salesforce org. 

A DocuSign account (a free developer account works)

Step 1: Log In to Your Salesforce Account and go to the Home page. 

Step 2: Access the AppExchange and type “AppExchange” in the Quick Find box or visit appexchange.salesforce.com

Step 3: Click “Get It Now” and follow the prompts to complete the installation. This may take up to 20 minutes. You will receive an email notification when the installation is complete.

Step 4: Type “DocuSign” in the App Launcher and open it. 

Step 5: Log in to your DocuSign account – click on “Log In to Demo Account” if using a developer account (recommended). 

Step 6: Log in by entering your email and password. 

Step 7: Authorize Salesforce access by following the prompts to connect your accounts.

Once authorized, you will see that eSignature is installed and may require further configuration. To integrate DocuSign Gen, return to Step 3 and repeat the process for the other tools. 

Important!
